This pickup or goods carrier as they are known in India was also done for the manufacturer via a dealer representative in the early-90s. The goal was to glamourize this commercial vehicle and try and attract private buyers.

Bob fabricated a completely new front bumper with built-in fog lights and custom made a grille with a design in which the manufacturer’s “T” was smartly integrated. Black covers were fitted over the headlights and a sunroof, which was quite rare then, was also installed.

Smart side skirts, stylish door mirrors, a prominent roll-bar and an elegant rear spoiler substantially altered the profile of the pickup and gave it a sporty shape.

The custom built more rounded rear bumper along with the taillight covers added more energy to the design and the two tone paint job and snazzy graphics, completely transformed this goods carrier, into a “Trendy Tatamobile”.
