The Silk Road Expedition 2013

11 vehicles, 11 countries, 15,000 kilometers and 50 days to drive from Berlin to Bombay. Via the Silk Road. Wow. The Silk Road 2013 Expedition was organized by Land Rover-Experience Germany and Bob was the only Indian invited to be part of it. The expedition was flagged off from Berlin on 26th August and finished in Mumbai on 12th October, 2013. Bob drove the Central Asia leg from Astrakhan in Russia, to Tashkent in Uzbekistan and also joined the expedition on the India leg till the finish in Mumbai. His co-driver was Hennings Luke from Germany and Bob says, “Being part of this event was like a dream. I had an amazingly brilliant and memorable time. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience”.
