‘Driving Holidays in India’ was published in 2005 and in 2006 it became a ‘Bestseller’. It was a pioneering book that created a whole new segment of books on road travel.

One of the reasons the book became such a success is that it’s based on the first hand experiences of the author who has driven well over a million kilometres in India. While motoring Bob meticulously mapped all his journeys, and therefore the data page has self-researched route directions and distances, and an easy to use schematic tour map sketched by the author himself.
